The way we develop and use software has always been changing. Today the “cloud” offers us something never available before – to create and deploy software at global scale, in just a few minutes and with minimal investment.
This does require a different way of thinking in how we plan, architect, write, test and deploy our business software solutions.
My focus as a cloud software architect and developer is to continuously find better ways to:
- Create new business software solutions that can take the most advantage of the new capabilities and benefits offered by leveraging “cloud” service providers
- Discover easier and more reliable ways to “migrate” or “re-architect” existing business software solutions so that they can also take advantage of the new capabilities and benefits offered by leveraging “cloud” service providers
I focus on certain proven technologies
There are hundreds of software and cloud technologies available today, and mastering them all is simply impossible – so I focus myself on a set of technologies that I have come to know well and trust on their reliability and capabilities.
I am an expert in the following technologies:
- Microsoft Azure platform and its services
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.x
- Microsoft .NET Core
- Microsoft SQL Server
My blog focuses on these topics and any related technologies that can help other software architects build better business software that targets the “cloud” as its platform.
